In January 2022, I conducted a Facebook poll asking women if their guardians taught them about abuse when they were minors. 78% of respondents said no, only 22% said yes.
These frightening numbers indicate that many young women are stepping into the dating market blindfolded, unsuspecting, and lacking critical life-saving information. This is unacceptable and we aim to make it a thing of the past.
The Queen Strategy envisions a future where:
*Every woman is aware of the risks, dangers, and presence of bad actors in the dating market.
*Knowledge of abuse, exploitation, and manipulation is common and mainstream among women.
*Women hand this knowledge down from one generation of women to the next.
We believe that collectively, women have the power to make this vision a reality—by creating a culture of awareness through female solidarity, female support systems, social media and social networking, free or affordable high quality content, and in-person women-only gatherings and events.
